An introduction to Oak Tree Project

Oak Tree Project has been applauded by orphanage directors across Korea and has had great success with its students. We hope to expand outside of Seoul and eventually reach orphans from all over Korea. Please e-mail us at [email protected] to receive monthly updates and please go to give.oaktreeproject.com to support the program. If you are interested in becoming a mentor please e-mail us.

Oak Tree Project: Who We Are

Oak Tree Project is a scholarship/mentoring program for Korean orphans who get into college. To learn more, click here.

Our Inspiration

Orphans in Korea are often left to a life of hardships, loneliness, and few opportunities. Even if they are able to go to college, they often have to work full time to pay tuition, leaving them exhausted, overwhelmed, and with little or no time to study. Oak Tree Project is opening new doors for orphans, and changing lives along the way. To view the testimony of the girl who inspired it all, click here.

Interview on a Korean TV Show

Sky and John-Michael (founders of Oak Tree Project) were asked to be interviewed for a Korean cable TV show “내가 매일 기쁘게” and share about how God called them to Korea, their life here in Korea, and about Oak Tree Project. This episode was shown in December 2015 in Korea. I apologize that there are no subtitles for this video. To hear in English about how God called John-Michael to Korea please go to this link: http://www.comequicklyministries.org/sermons/ and search for the message “Discerning Your Calling.”
